Whenever my brother or I had a problem or needed something, my mom would get on the phone and call somebody she knew that had experienced the same thing. - I wanted to try out for the school play, she called her friend who's son had auditioned and won a part. My brother wanted to go learn to ride horseback, my mother called another friend that owned a stable.

She taught me that asking for help from someone that has experience and can give you good advice is what makes all the difference. Little did she know that habit would inspire my love of giving and receiving mentorship.

And it's why I am so passionate about the personal conversation with women. THAT'S where the real magic happens!

This is a true story.

The year I got married was the worst year of my life. "Mr. Wonderful" and I had just made it official.

I felt great! Business was rockin’ and I was in love. In fact, my new husband hated his job, and so I made room in my company for him. He came to work for me and life was sweet.

Even though I worked crazy hours, I saw my children all the time. Over the years, one or more of my five kids worked for me around their school schedules. I loved having them drop by after school to say hi and tell me how their day had been.

The best of both worlds; working mom, still connected to the kids and having my spouse at work, too.

Doesn’t get any better than that.

My children’s Dad had died and I worked my tail off to support my kids and myself – it was just us. I had developed a great income stream that was 100% referral based, and business had taken off.

I had learned to become what I call “intentionally attractive’. No kidding, business would literally just fall in my lap if I thought about it long enough.

I learned this technique from a friend of mine whose business was also booming. He told me that the human mind was like a pie and we all had a limited number of pieces of the pie. He showed me that our mind could only focus on a few things at once, but what we focused on we got. When our attention was on business development, business just showed up. When our attention became diverted into non-essential things, business would slow down. (ask me later what my friend’s KISS is)

It sure seemed to work for my friend – he had a great house, a beautiful car and a great wife. And he was making tons of money, as evidenced by the yacht he bought and kept on Lake Powell.

Just like he told me, when I started really focusing on business development, business exploded. I felt like I had discovered the magic formula for success: you just literally thought about it, and there it was.

Little did I know it was coming to a screeching halt. Changes in our state law made it impossible for me to continue with t he same revenue model I had carefully developed and intentionally grown.

From the time this law passed until the next spring, my gross revenues plummeted like a stone - they dropped 80% in 9 months and I lost everything. My house, my business and my identity.

I was depressed and ate my emotions to a size 24. One day I caught sight of myself and I knew that I had way to much inside to to share to let my unhappiness stop me.

One of the principles that I knew to be true: nothing happens by accident: was running around in my head. I could give up or find out why this had happened and how I might help others. I decided right then and there, that if I did nothing else in this life, I would take the lessons I was learning and pass them on to others.

Within a year I had replaced my income, lost 85 pounds and found a source of fire within me that has not dimmed since that day. What I know for sure is that owning your own pleasure and saying YES to your soul-knowing will transform your life into something you won't recognize in a few short months.

Apart from being a wife, mother and grandmother, I created a women’s networking organization that now has thousands of members. I was also the very first woman to chair the Angel Capital Summit, an event for entrepreneurs to pitch to investors. And over the years I’ve worked with thousands of women in business, on every continent, to empower them to make more money and grow a successful business. I understand business but I also deeply understand energy and intuition.

I began doing bodywork two decades ago and had the privilege of having over 12,000 people on my table. Since I specialized in medical and restorative massage, I worked with a lot of people recovering from car accidents with head injuries and PTSD. My training in sensory-motor psychotherapy and structural bodywork was a good foundation and I'm also a certified hypnotherapist, an akashic reader, and a two-time Reiki Master.

And in the 14 years I’ve been a full time coach, I've been trained as an Business and Executive Coach, a Love, Sex & Relationship Jade Egg Teacher and an Immersive Meditation Teacher. Hint: for women there is a HUGE connection between pleasure, sex & money!
