Sex, Power or Money?

Between sex, power or money:  if you could have more of only one, which would you chose?  Results from a survey of women around the globe say that hands down, more money wins by a three to one margin.

It makes sense.  More money could equal more power and in some cases,  that could equate to more sex.   What you might not know is that awakening the power of abundance begins with awakening the power of feminine energy.

Let me explain.

Have you ever considered that your intimate expression and your financial abundance might be related? What if I told you your success as an entrepreneur was intimately tied to your sensual awareness?

What if both your sex life and your relationship with money could be a source of empowerment, possibility, generosity, hope and joy in your daily life?  How wonderful would that be?

If you’re like most people, you probably experience one or both of these as a source of frustration, anxiety, fear, obligation, guilt or struggle (or all of the above).

And if you think that that arguments about money and sex are listed as the most common causes of relationship breakups, you’d be correct.

Stress over money is often at the root of ongoing health problems and coping behaviors like overeating, overspending and lack of self-worth.

The reason most of us struggle with money is because we don’t really understand the true purpose of money and how it’s connected to other parts of our life, parts that may be hidden in the shadows.

What if the real purpose of money was NOT to simply support us on a material level?    What if everything you’ve ever THOUGHT about money and prosperity was not true at all?

Sexual energy is life-force energy. It creates new life, and if you aren’t creating babies, you need to be directing that energy somewhere. If you don’t, it will stagnate in all sorts of destructive ways, creating everything from depression to weight gain to health problems to zero cash flow.  That’s because money is the visible sign of life-force energy.

Think about the lower body and the organs that are housed there.  We create new life from here.  It’s also where our essential organs are found. The health and vitality of this part of our body impacts our very survival.

Many ancient traditions place the storage of  life-force energy in the organs of the lower body. Sexual expression (among other influences) increases our life-force energy.

This is also the place of the second chakra, which rules the womb.   Energy expressed as libido—our creativity, our services and even our products—is also energetically housed here.

Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, wrote a chapter called “Mystery of Sex Transmutation”.    In 1923  he rated the ten great motivators of human behavior from the “highest rates of vibration” to the lowest:

  1. The desire for sex expression
  2. Love
  3. A burning desire for fame, power, financial gain, money
  4. Music
  5. Friendship
  6. A Master Mind alliance
  7. Mutual suffering
  8. Autosuggestion
  9. Fear
  10. Addiction

He wrote that the motivation for sexual attraction is 100% inviting and magnetic, not the avoidance of an unwanted state.   When aroused, you are motivated by desire, not the avoidance of poverty or loneliness. Hill said that,  “The emotion of sex is, by great odds, the most powerful and intense of all mind stimuli.”

While Hill waxed poetic about this topic, he did not fully explain the specifics of how sex transmutation actually works.

We used to think that manifesting was strictly a mental process, but we now know that the body is an essential part of the equation. And let me be clear that I am talking about the energy of sex, as defined from the act itself.

We need to the body to create new experiences and new manifestations.  The reason for this is that thoughts are electric and feelings are magnetic.    The body is a conduit to energy.  Just as the purpose of sex is to create life,  we manifest through masculine and feminine meeting with an explosion of energy: the same idea is present in manifesting.  Sexuality is the missing piece in truly understanding manifesting, and that  is why it is so important that we uncover and release the shame, the guilt and the fear around our sexuality and our sensuality so we can use the fullness of our body to create.

So there,  I  said it.   Sensuality is an essential part of manifesting.   We have moved from simply understanding things with the mind to having an experience to truly grasp the learning.   So how to put this into practicalities?

To begin, embrace your feminine energy by saying yes to pleasure, and stop giving time and attention to those things that no longer serve you.  It only drains your energy and does nothing for feeling wonderful.  Make today the day that you find something sexy and delicious to focus on.  I’m certain you’ll see the positive impact both personally and professionally.
